Denver Executive Confessional
By Sunny Nunan, Founder, Core24 , Admin Awards & The Executive Confessional
Core24’s first Executive Confessional Event took place in Denver last week. Here’s a quick summary:
The formula for such a great evening began with three vital ingredients:
First, the venue. Comedy Works South, it turns out, was the perfect venue to host 75 area executives who came to see two legendary Denver-based companies share their stories. Planning a corporate event can be a nightmare with the wrong partners, but The Comedy Works team quickly proved to us that they were true pro’s at handling every aspect of a corporate event – and with a smile.
Next, you have to have interesting subjects. Eric and Jessica Gutknecht of Continental Sausage and Jon Schlegel, Founder of Snooze Café shared two fascinatingly raw stories of their entrepreneurial journeys that left attendees enlightened and inspired.
“The honesty, the passion… Made me feel like we aren’t so different and that everyone goes through rough times. The fact that I was able to relate on some level with the CEO of two companies I respect is insane.. You always feel like they are above you, but it turns out that isn’t the case. Glad you chose small business owners that are so real and truthful.” – Julia Leighton, Laws Whiskey House
Lastly, the audience. The Executive Confessional attracted a community of senior business leaders from companies of every size from a wide variety of industries that enjoyed an afternoon of great food, drink and high-quality networking.
100% of survey responders told us two key things in their feedback that lets us know this event is positioned to become a huge hit with the Denver business community; they would attend again and they would recommend the Executive Confessional to a friend.
